Home Shopping : My Favorite Pieces

That Yellow! I am utterly IN LOVE with it at the moment! The couch doesn't fit in or match the couches we already have and it's not soft and plushy enough, otherwise.......and yes, I want that table too! So matching with the yellow couch, no? =D

These are pictures I took in Lifestyle Home Centre of the things I really liked. I wanted to share, in case you all are looking for similar pieces......or just for inspiration.

I just love this dresser! The 'belt-type' leather pullers are so creative <3 Ooh...and that stool!
There's a matching chest of drawers too - see it in the mirror there.

Price: Rs.27,960

I've been on the hunt for a bed with a quilted headboard for a while now, and this is the only one I've found so far. It's nice, but I want a taller headboard. I think this was Rs.52,000-62,000.

That's all for today. Did you like anything?

Thank You for reading. Talk again soon!

What I Wore, Etc

Hi, Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Thought I'd quickly post some pics from the mini holiday a.k.a. 'Babymoon'. I didn't pack much, so I stuck to 1 bag & 1 pair of shoes.

I'm loving both these dresses, coz I don't look too pregnant in them. But, either way,  my bump doesn't show much in pics, for some reason. I think Baby CZ is camera shy, coz it hid its face even during my last ultrasound =D
Outfit #1:

Outfit #2:
Vero Moda Ruffle Dress | Same Lino Perros Bag | Same Shoes

L'Opera, Select City Walk

Breakfast desserts

Ramen Noodles at Yo! China Cafe, DLF Place. They tasted H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E! >.< (I don't know, I never like Yo! China food.)

Virgin Mary at Geoffrey's, Select City Walk. Love this pub! Drinks & food - both good.

Thank You for reading & I'll see you again soon.

Have a great week! =)

Date Night

Firstly, this post was supposed to be up a week ago! Days seem to fly by so fast, I can't even.

Secondly, please excuse the blurry night time pics.

We'd gone out for dinner after over a month! I had a hard time picking what to wear, since everything's too tight now that I'm on my 3rd trimester. So I just went with this hi-lo dress, which came with a belt that's too small now =D

Dress ~ Jane Norman
Bag ~ Voir (Malaysian brand)
Shoes ~ Stelatoes. Shown here

Had dinner at Punjab Grill

Lemonade ~ If you're familiar with Kala Khatta or Chuski, a street ice popsicle that's popular in India, it tastes a little bit like it. I really enjoyed it, coz I'd been craving that Chuski!

Punjab Grill makes the best lamb chops! Also had Mutton Saag (mutton in spinach gravy), which was also nice.

Good Night/Day All! <3

Will be posting regularly here this week, coz I'll be leaving for a mini vacation soon! =)

Thank You for reading & hope life's good.

How To Make BIG Shoes FIT small feet

My Feet Size: UK 2-2.5.

Yes, they're tiny, but the problem that adds to my shoe woes is the fact that my feet are also thin and flat-ish - there's not much flesh between my soles and arch of foot. I think if they were thicker, I wouldn't have so much heartache in shoe stores.

Okay, so here's what I do when it looks like I'm a kid trying on grown-ups' shoes......

 BEFORE

Step 1: Place full cushioned insoles inside the shoes.

CZhome: Dressing Room Curtains, Finally!

Hi, Everyone! Just a quick update on the furnishings & decor of new home. I finally got curtains for my dressing room last week, and I am quite happy with them.
My first plan was to get floral curtains, and was kinda liking the ones below.....3rd white/grey......
......but they were quite expensive - Rs.750/meter.

So, I picked up this light pistachio green one instead, and I'm so glad, because now I think they're better than the floral ones. Since they are sheer (semi-sheer, I'd say), I don't have to draw them open every time, like I would have to do with opaque ones. You know, since it's so hot outside. They also have a nice sheen  and a grossgrain-like texture, so they don't look so flat.

Mr.CZ also pointed out that the floral ones would have overpowered the room, and wouldn't have looked very good ("Just imagine, big big in-your-face flowers right there!")

He's absolutely right! Why didn't I think of that?! =D

This fabric was for Rs.250/meter. 15 meters went into these curtains.

From: Sita Fabrics, Lajpat Nagar Market, New Delhi.

Hope you like them too!

Please don't take the other stuff you see in the pics seriously. I still don't know what goes where right now, so I just randomly "decorate".

I've yet to get some necessary things for this room:

~ A day bed or chaise that will go where that telephone stand is right now.
~ A chair/stool for my vanity.
~ Artificial flowers. Because I'm done with real ones. They die! =(
~ Etc.

Until next time......

Thank You for reading, and I'll see you again in a much-requested Shoe post soon =)

New In: Quilted Ballet Shoes

Hi, All! Sorry for not updating here for 2 weeks. Time just flew....somehow. So I dropped in a shoe store yesterday, and found 2 flat casual pairs that I needed. You know, since no high heels for some time. After being in the store for over 15 mins, and trying many many shoes that were too big for me, I was glad that I at least got 2 pairs.
I just love the color combo of these. Taupe-ish grey with light grey accents. Quite impressed with the quality too for the price. No sloppy stitching and glue marks and such. They are soft and cushioney, so I'm gonna be wearing them a lot during the next 4 months of my pregnancy.

Size ~ 36. I'm usually a 33, but these fit me fine.

From ~ Stelatoes, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi (Next to Rajco)

Price ~ Rs.795.

They're also available in Black & White.....

Now I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten the black ones too.....maybe white too! Oh, the greed.

Thank You for reading, and I'll talk to you again soon.

Whenever you see grass & greenery in my pics, it means I'm staying at my in-laws. Have been here for a few days, and will be heading home tomorrow.

P.S.  In some online websites in India, they call ballet shoes "Bellies" or "Belly Shoes". Funny, no? As if they're for belly dancing =D
